Continuous Disinfection with ViraNil-R

Corona, which started in Wuhan China, has conquered continents, with no stoppage in sight.  With no proven cure in hand, all the countries are struggling to control it.  At some point, it seems to be under control, but erupt again to capture more.  The only country, which could control it reasonably,  is the country where it started first – but  there is no clue yet on how they did it.

With Social distancing in mind, every country has announced lock downs, ranging from 45 to 60 days.  However, at some point time, people have to start their activities, for their mere economic survival.

When we start our normal activities, everyone’s primary aim is to ‘Keep ourselves and others Safe’ from infections – from known and unknown sources.

ViraNil – R

There are people assembling areas like Reception area, Conference roomsviranil-R1, Cinema halls, Party Halls etc.  If any one of the person, in that area,  is a ‘Passive’ carrier of

Virus- there is high possibility of others also getting infected.  to minimize the risk, the area has to be disinfected on Continuous basis. 

The  ViraNil-R is Chlorine dioxide based disinfectant – designed for slow release of disinfectant gas, to continuously disinfect the area.

  • ViraNil – R is a slow releasing formulae for aerial disinfection.
  • Use ViraNil – R in reception area and people assembling areas. It releases low concentration of ClO2, slowly to inactivate the air borne pathogens.
  • ViraNil – R is provided in a container. Open the container lid, add about 100 ml water ( to 50% of its level).  Leave it undisturbed in a corner of the room.  It will slowly release ClO2 gas at low concentration, which will inactivate the virus / pathogens in the air.
  • At the end of the day, dispose off the liquid in the container and the empty sachet.
  • Precautions:
    • Keep it away from reach of Children
    • In case of spillage, add excess water and wipe it off
    • Do not disturb the container, after adding water

Corona Disinfection with ViraNil

Human Corona Virus, CoVid-19, which suddenly appeared from Wuhan China in 2019, now turned out be a Pandemic, affecting people across the Globe.  Currently more than 25 lakh people are infected by the Faceless enemy.  With no proven vaccine in sight, control of the spread is a distance dream.  With countries locking themselves down, Oil prices shattered, Economies in dolldrums, every human faces the problem.

Only way known to Human race currently is “Social distancing”, avoiding contact with affected persons.  Now, the new findings indicate that 80% Indians, who were tested positive were ‘Asymptomatic’ – means ‘one may not know, even who is the passive carrier of Corona’.  Then what will be the way forward, to prevent spreading.

“Chlorine Dioxide” is a Chemistry’s gift, which can help in tackling the issue.

  • It is a gas, so it spreads in air and kills airborne virus.
  • Its size is very small ( 0.124 µm), so that it can easily penetrate into the cell wall of the virus and denature the RNA structure.
  • It has very short contact time (CT), which makes it more effective than any other known disinfectants.
  • It is a broad spectrum anti- microbial agent, effective against most of the bacteria, viruses and fungi.
  • CLO2 releases nascent oxygen upon decomposition during its action as an anti-microbial agent – which makes it very effective. The immune system of many persons; particularly the elderly, is deficient in the ability of providing these highly reactive oxygen derivatives (free-radicals) which are so necessary for attacking the great variety of viral; and bacterial invaders become easy targets for the many diseases.

Though Chlorine dioxide is the potential control against the virus, it is not fully utilized, due to its non availability to common people.  It is largely used in Manufacturing industries like Paper, water treatment etc, where it is produced by reacting Chlorate or Chlorite, with chemical substances.

At RII, we have developed a simplified product, ViraNil – which can generate required amounts of Chlorine dioxide, wherever and whenever needed, instantly.  ViraNil is supplied as a pouch.  Just one has to dip the pouch in water, to generate ClO2.

 

‘ViraNil – R’ – is a room disinfectant, suitable for disinfecting places, where people gather –  like hospitals, bus station, Malls, etc.  One has to just add water to the container and keep it open in a strategic place.  ViraNil-R shall slowly release ClO2, which spread across in the air around and kill virus / bacteria

Chemical Sourcing

Manufacturing processes are complex in nature.  Multiple inputs go into the process, to get a good quality product.  One of the important input is the Chemicals being used.  The chemicals are either used as a raw material or as a process aid. As said, Quality of the input defines the Quality of output.  So, it is important to source Quality Chemicals.
